Our room was clean and always restocked with personal items. I called several times about info for food, movie places, and the staff was always very helpful. The only problem we had was the internet was down, that was very inconvenient.Would stay again.

The one and only time in my life (and I have stayed in many hotels over the years) when at 2AM (!!!!) we had to get dressed, pack our bags and leave to find another hotel. The walls are paper thin and so are the windows that open to the inner lobby. Front desk does NOT care that people are partying and you can't sleep because of all the noise. We had people party in the room next to ours and the hotel staff did not care one bit. We had to get up early the next day and it was absolutely horrible. At 2am their customer service (which we called as a last resort) told us to leave. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

When I checked into this hotel at 11 PM I was greeted with a glaringly obvious unclean room. (I guess they only had 12 hours to clean it...) When I opened the toilet, it was very very obviously not clean because the last person to use the toilet had explosive diarrhea. I almost threw up and put my head over the sink only to see that there were hairs on the sink as well. It was super gross, super nasty and super bad. Unless you are into that sort of thing, I suggest that you stay far away from this hotel and just to be safe, I have no intentions of staying at ANY Crowne Plaza ever again.

If you have friends/relatives visiting the DC metro area, this is the place! ! We live in the area - and are experiencing our 4th day with no power due to a storm. Last night we stayed at a Marriott Courtyard 1/4 mile away for $235 (I swear to God, that's what they hit us for!). Nice, clean, but typical Marriott Courtyard. They had no room the following night, so we finally found this place. For something like $125, we're in a two room suite - the "sitting room " is bigger then the entire other room - two TV's! I've stayed in a lot of first class hotels -The Hay Adams, Greenbriar, Ritz Carlton, you name it- this is right up there with them, in every catagory, some even better - and it's "different" - one of a kind. Metro into DC is just 3 mins away - and the interstate is right there in case you want to go to Balto or Annapolis, Really nice feel to the place. , even though its tucked into a major business corridor (its attached to a conference center). Its as nice and unique as anything you'll find 5 star downtown. Save your money for shopping! (And the hotel restaurant gets an "A" as well!, )
