The outside of the hotel gives a low-budget appearance and did not give the illusion of feeling safe. The hotel room itself was surprisingly clean and did not have food odors. The cooktop was a nice option although I didn't use it. Microwave and full-sized refrigerator were great to have. The bathroom was clean, clean, clean. The bed wasn't firm enough for my liking however you could specify soft or firm pillows. The hotel offers snacks on an honor system (well sort of...there's a camera on you). They also offer VHS and DVDs from their library which isn't very extensive so feel free to bring your own. Rooms are equipped with a VHS/DVD combination machine. For a small fee I left my vehicle there and took the hotel shuttle to the airport which was very convenient. The guests that rode the shuttle back to the hotel with my were a pilot and flight attendants. They pretty much have their pick of places to stay I would think and they chose this place. You need a car to get around but Ruby Tuesday, Bob Evans, Wendy's and McDonalds are all within a 5 minute drive as is 7-11 and a movie theater. There is a laundry room with free washing and drying but you need to pay a small fee for detergent and fabric softener. The hotel staff was friendly enough. Overall, a good stay. Although I love a hotel with a hot breakfast (and this one doesn't have it) I'd come back again.

  • Smelly -- Not for me

While some people may appreciate the amenities of a kitchen in your hotel room, the smells of food can be annoying. The entire hotel always smelled of people cooking food in their rooms. Then, to try to mask the smells, I guess, the rooms were overly scented with some sort of air freshener. I left the window open for my entire 4-day stay and was never able to get rid of the air-freshener or food smells. And the TV barely worked -- it had cable and HBO, but it looked like the reception came from a piece of tin foil antenna. The room seemed clean, but never smelled clean, of course, so that made you feel as if it wasn't clean. Only stay here if you really need to save money by not eating out.
