The hotel is clean and the rooms are very comfortable. The included breakfast buffet provides a nice start to the day. Unfortunately, the hotel's restaurant is not open for dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. While the hotel is conveniently located off the major highways and only a couple of miles from the Rockville town center area, going anywhere (e.g. to a restaurant or shopping) involves driving a few miles.

The location was very convenient. Check in and check out were expeditious. The staff was friendly and competent. The only shortfall was that essentially every item in the very ample breakfast buffet was at best luke warm and most were cold (e.g., eggs, french toast, sausage). Only the self-made waffles were warm/hot.

Our suite was awesome. The place was spotless and the rooms were large. We had a suite with a king size bed and sofa bed in the living room. The pool has a lifeguard on duty, that is why it is open only 8 hours. 15 minutes an hour are "adult swim" which is enforced by the lifeguard. The breakfast is fantastic and is laid out beautifully in an adjoining cafeteria. Everywhere I looked there were employees wiping the metal finish on elevators, windows, hand rails, etc. The only negative I would have is the single 13 passenger van that they use to shuttle to the Metro station. We waited 40 minutes both mornings even though we were there early. However, they make extra trips. I was sure to tip the driver each time he made an extra run for us beyond the stated time schedule.I stayed in many hotels on my vacation in many cities. This was the least expensive but still the nicest one.

The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Best continental breakfast I've had in years. Actually much better than most restaurants that you would pay extra for at other hotels. Hotel is a little tired in some areas but not to the point of detracting from my stay. The in room iron saved me from the airline security baggage inspectors (shirts were wadded up in the bottom of my garment bag). You can spend a lot more money to stay in the DC area and not be as comfortable or well treated. My only complaint was that housekeeping only left decaf coffee in the room each day. Will definitely be staying again.
