  We have visited this hotel many times on our family trips to the DC area and keep coming back. You can't beat the location or the rooms for the money.

  While the hotel is showing a bit of its age, it certainly was a pleasantly inexpensive and well-taken care of property. The pool area was beautifully landscaped. The on-site restaurant was closed at the time, but a small make-do facility established that offered a nice, hot buffet breakfast. The on-site lounge was also closed, but I expect this is temporary. A shuttle bus stops right at the entrance of the hotel and will zip you to the Metro line.....after that, it's quick trip downtown to see the sites. (I strongly recommend taking the Metro and avoid the clogged Beltway). (The return shuttle also drops you off at the front door.) The area is suburban (mixed housing and small businesses, and major malls are only a mile or two away.

  My room had roaches and i found them on the bed. i was horrified because all of the hotels were booked up and we had to stay. we never brought ...

  my room had roaches and I found them on the bed. I was horrified because all of the hotels were booked up and we had to stay. We never brought any food into the room and kept our baggage in the car for fear of bringing the roaches home.

  Looking for a hotel in the DC area it was a pleasant surprise to see a $* room available. The bed was very very comfortable. I did not try the restaurant but there is a McDonald's around the corner.
