Last minute trip. Clean, pleasant, well appointed room. Friendly, accommodating front desk staff and shuttle drivers. Prompt shuttle pickup at BWI terminal - even at 11:30PM! Able to extend stay by one day with no problem. Ample breakfast - many choices. Breakfast items replaced quickly as they ran out - so everything was fresh and hot. Ample comfortable breakfast seating in lobby / lounge space. Pleasant hubbub without being overly loud. Nothing very interesting within walking distance. From BWI terminal - bus to Greenbelt then metro to DC or commuter rail (weekdays) to DC or light rail to Baltimore.

Upon arrival, the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, although I sterilized the furniture tops and drawers because I'm not confident in those areas being clean. I was unhappy to learn that there is a fee to have a refrigerator in the room. For the price of a room, there shouldn't be a charge for a refrigerator. There was nothing exceptional about the room, either. All of the front desk help needs to be aware of the shuttle that will take people to Moe's Place (and maybe other eating establishments). Being a female in an unfamiliar city, I was told by an acquaintance at the training I attended to not walk anywhere alone. Consequently, I ate in the hotel restaurant three days. It was good but got old. My last day at the training I learned about the shuttle. The workout area was very nice with a good variety of equipment. I was unable to adjust the thermostat lower than 68 degrees for sleeping comfort and had to leave the fan blowing to help drowned out the outside noise.

Friendly, clean, affordable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The lobby was warm and inviting. Location was just right for vising Baltimore and downtown DC. Very easy to get to. We will definitely be spending more time in the Hampton's.

This is a very nice motel, very near the airport, that overall provided good reservations and shuttle service. Our only problem was the air conditioner was very noisy and kept us awake most of the night. Hopefully other room have a better A/C system but I would be 50/50 on taking a second chance at this motel. Too bad because the staff are really great.
