To sum it all up, Tyson Premiere is a good hotel, very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, the indoor pool was crystal clear, and the staff was very friendly. I loved the idea of a covered smokers circle right outside of the hotel to the right of the front doors. There should have been signs directing people there so they would not be at the front doors. There was just issues you would need to work out. Meals, including breakfast, ranging from * add tax, room delivery charge, and some other charge, if you have it delivered to your room. STP shoud make the meals a little more affordable so people can get up and enjoy their meal instead of going out to breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I could not bolt lock the door because my roommate was out of the room, but room service needs to double-check their sheets and knock harder with an extra knock for certainty before entering someones room. The staff needs to be able to direct people from the Pavillion to the lobby with a little more ease. "Just follow this hallway all the way around" is not hard to say. And this is right around the corner from Washington DC. The cleaning crews were cleaning rooms all day. People come from all stretches. They really need to be a little more accommodating when it comes to people who drive there and have spent 9 hours plus on the road. It's not like EVERY room was booked. I had better service in 2008. Hopefully, it would be better in 2010.

This hotel is rated A+, excellent hotel nice and clean, overall beautiful. The location is excellent also. We were going to Washington D. C. and this hotel is about 12 miles from the capital, their rate is much more reasonable than the hotels inside the capital.

I was charged $140.00 for a rollaway cot for two nights, had to deal with drunks in the hall outside my room at 3AM and they never answer the telephone when you need to ask a question.

This hotel is a decent hotel for the money. It is in need of some maintenance and minor renovation and updating. The room to room noise is quite obvious. The AC. Is noisier than average. The restaurant/bar staff were good but slow, and the food/ drink prices are a bit high. Be sure to check your credit card charges as we were charged for an additional day and double charged for our bar tab (I guess they figured we would not remember what we had). They said they would correct the discrepancy but we are still waiting on this. The parking was convenient and the proximity to DC was good for us ( 20 min drive on the weekend). We will consider staying here again depending on the rates and outcome of the overcharges, but will not likely eat or drink here again.
