I chose this hotel as recommended by the Ligonier Ministries for their Regional Conference and was totally disappointment. We booked a 7-day reversation timeds with our vacation. Prior to arriving at the hotel on at least 5 different occaisons, we requested rooms with king beds and were told that they would be available. Upon arrival, our two rooms had double beds and one of them was designed for a 'disable' person. The on-site manager agreed to move us to rooms with king beds after two days. In teh third day, the electronic lock on the door of one of the rooms broke which forced us to move again. The room was cold and I could not adjust the air-conditioner eventurnind it off did not stop the cold air. As for the rooms not having king beds as requested by calling Marriott directly on multiple occaisons, I was informed by the on-site manager that priority room requests are reserved for customers booking the rooms directly via Marriott. I have contacted Marriott Corporate and was informed that each Marriott Hotel can set their own room policy. I am very said and do not feel that I got my money's worth and the treatment which I had paid for. Will probably not stay at a Marriott again

Marriott is a very nice hotel located in a safe location and is newly renovated. I had no problems with this hotel, except for the fact they need to make the beds and pillows bigger. A family of four who's budget is very tight, will be willing to share a room, but the 2 double beds are a bit to small and not the right size for 2 parents and an 11 year old and a 8 year old to sleep together. The front desk is a little slow, when I asked for 2 more pillows, it took them 15 min. to bring it up. Room service was excellent, and keeps the hotel very clean. And the good thing about this hotel is that I don't need to haul my kids out of bed and drag them to the nearest metro station which is 4 blocks when its only a few feet away. If you google 'washington dc metro station', and locate 'white flint', you'll be an expert in getting on and off the metro. If you've decided to take the metro as transportation and is staying there for more than 3 days, I recommend you buy a SmarTrip card online, its $*, * for the card and * to start off with. This is a good place to stay, even if you're not there for a business meeting.

Stayed here two nights on a business trip. This is a nice, new building. The view out the floor-to-ceiling tenth story suite windows is wonderful. Climate control is good, as is internet access, etc. Good, solid place to stay on business.
